Photography captures a moment.
Storytelling captures a legacy.
East Coast Sporting Pursuit exists to document the people, traditions, and unforgettable moments that define life outdoors. From the first light of a tournament morning to the final weigh-in, from flooded timber at sunrise to the quiet walk out of the woods after a successful hunt, every adventure has a story worth preserving.
Based in eastern North Carolina, I specialize in photography, cinematic video, and visual storytelling for the sportfishing, hunting, and outdoor industries throughout the East Coast.
Whether I'm photographing a tournament-winning blue marlin, documenting a family hunting tradition, or creating content for captains, outfitters, and outdoor brands, my goal is always the same—to create authentic imagery that feels as real as the experience itself.
My journey with photography began long before I ever stepped onto the deck of a sportfishing boat.
As a kid, I carried a small Canon point-and-shoot camera everywhere I could. Even then, I was fascinated by the ability to freeze a single moment in time. What started as curiosity eventually grew into a career in commercial photography and visual marketing, but it wasn't until I discovered the offshore fishing and hunting communities that I found the work I was truly meant to do.
Today, you'll usually find me long before daylight—camera in hand—running offshore, climbing into a tower, kneeling on a dock for a tournament weigh-in, sitting quietly in a duck blind, or following hunters through the woods.
I'm not just documenting these experiences.
I'm living them.
As an angler, hunter, outdoorswoman, and lifelong storyteller, I understand the details that matter because I've experienced them myself. I know when to expect the teaser bite. I know the anticipation of a tournament morning. I know the emotion behind a first harvest, a personal best, or a fish that took hours to bring to the boat.
That perspective allows me to create images that don't simply show what happened—they let people feel what it was like to be there.
I work with people and brands who live the outdoor lifestyle.
The outdoors isn't just a hobby.
It's tradition.
It's family.
It's conservation.
It's competition.
It's sunrise runs, muddy boots, saltwater, and stories passed from one generation to the next.
My mission is to preserve those stories through authentic photography and film that reflects the people, places, and pursuits that make this lifestyle so special.
Because long after the tournament is over, the season closes, or the memories begin to fade...
the story remains.
